Diabetologia (pronounced: /ˌdaɪəˌbiːtəˈlɒdʒiə/) is the branch of medicine that deals with the study, diagnosis, and treatment of diabetes and its related disorders.

Etymology

The term "Diabetologia" is derived from the Greek words "diabetes" meaning "siphon" or "to pass through", and "-logia" meaning "study of".
