Young Buck (born David Darnell Brown on March 15, 1981) is an American rapper, songwriter, and record producer. He is best known as a member of the hip hop group G-Unit and for his solo career.
Early Life[edit]
Young Buck was born in Nashville, Tennessee. He began rapping at a young age and was discovered by Cash Money Records co-founder Brian "Birdman" Williams.

Young Buck started his career with Cash Money Records but left the label without releasing an album. He later joined U.T.P. Records, a label founded by Juvenile.
G-Unit[edit]
In 2003, Young Buck joined G-Unit, a group founded by 50 Cent. He gained significant recognition with the group's debut album, Beg for Mercy, which was released in 2003. The album was a commercial success and solidified Young Buck's place in the hip hop industry.
Solo Career[edit]
Young Buck released his debut solo album, Straight Outta Cashville, in 2004 under G-Unit Records and Interscope Records. The album was well-received and featured hit singles such as "Let Me In" and "Shorty Wanna Ride."
His second album, Buck the World, was released in 2007. The album included collaborations with artists like T.I., Young Jeezy, and Snoop Dogg.
