Wyckoff Heights, New York City




Wyckoff Heights is a neighborhood in the New York City boroughs of Brooklyn and Queens. It is situated in the northern part of Bushwick and the southern part of Ridgewood. The area is named after the Wyckoff family, one of the early Dutch settlers in the region.

Wyckoff Heights was originally a rural area with farmland and small settlements. The neighborhood began to develop in the late 19th and early 20th centuries as New York City expanded.
