A workshop (/ˈwɜːrkʃɒp/) is a room or building which provides both the area and tools (or machinery) that may be required for the manufacture or repair of manufactured goods.
Etymology
The term workshop is derived from the Old English weorcstede. Weorc means work and stede refers to a place, thus it literally translates to "workplace".
