West Lothian is a county located in the central Lowlands of Scotland. It borders Edinburgh to the east, Lanarkshire to the west, Falkirk to the north, and the Scottish Borders to the south. The administrative centre of West Lothian is Livingston, which is one of the main towns alongside Bathgate, Linlithgow, and Broxburn.

History
