The University of Tuzla (Template:Lang-bs) is a public university located in Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina. It was established in 1976 and is one of the major higher education institutions in the country.
History[edit]
The University of Tuzla was founded on 18 November 1976. It was established during a period of significant educational reform in the former Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. The university was created to meet the growing demand for higher education in the region and to support the industrial development of Northeastern Bosnia.
