Twinings is a British marketer of tea, based in Andover, Hampshire. The brand is owned by Associated British Foods. It holds the world's oldest continually used company logo, and is London's longest-standing ratepayer, having occupied the same premises on the Strand since 1706.

The Twinings family has been in the tea business since the early 18th century. The founder, Thomas Twining, opened the first known tea room at 216 Strand, London, in 1706. The company has been a purveyor of tea to the British royal family since Queen Victoria's reign.

Thomas Twining was born in 1675 in Painswick, Gloucestershire. He moved to London and worked in the tea trade, eventually opening his own shop. The shop quickly became popular, and Twining's reputation for quality tea grew.
