Trenbolone hexahydrobenzylcarbonate
(Redirected from Trenbolone cyclohexylmethylcarbonate)
An anabolic steroid used in veterinary medicine
Trenbolone hexahydrobenzylcarbonate is a synthetic anabolic-androgenic steroid (AAS) of the nandrolone group, which is used in veterinary medicine, particularly to increase the growth of livestock. It is an ester of trenbolone, a potent androgen and anabolic steroid.
Chemical structure and properties
Trenbolone hexahydrobenzylcarbonate is a derivative of nandrolone, differing by the presence of two additional double bonds in the steroid nucleus. This modification increases its binding affinity for the androgen receptor and enhances its anabolic activity. The hexahydrobenzylcarbonate ester prolongs the release of trenbolone from the site of injection, allowing for less frequent dosing compared to other trenbolone esters.
Pharmacology
Trenbolone hexahydrobenzylcarbonate acts as an agonist of the androgen receptor, leading to increased protein synthesis and nitrogen retention in muscles. This results in enhanced muscle growth and appetite stimulation in animals. It also has anti-catabolic effects, reducing the breakdown of muscle tissue.
Veterinary use
In veterinary medicine, trenbolone hexahydrobenzylcarbonate is used to promote weight gain and improve feed efficiency in cattle. It is typically administered as an implant under the skin of the ear. The use of trenbolone in livestock is regulated in many countries to ensure that meat products are safe for human consumption.
Side effects
While effective in promoting growth, trenbolone hexahydrobenzylcarbonate can cause side effects in animals, including changes in behavior and reproductive function. In humans, exposure to trenbolone residues in meat is a concern, although regulatory measures are in place to minimize this risk.
Legal status
The use of trenbolone hexahydrobenzylcarbonate is approved for veterinary use in several countries, but it is not approved for use in humans. The sale and distribution of trenbolone for non-veterinary purposes are illegal in many jurisdictions.
