Tahoe
Tahoe (/tɑːˈhoʊ/; from Washo: dáʔaw) is a large freshwater lake in the Sierra Nevada of the United States. It is not a medical term, but it is often associated with the Tahoe Forest Health System, a comprehensive medical service provider in the Tahoe region.
Etymology
The term "Tahoe" originates from the Washo Native American language. The word "dáʔaw" means "The Lake".
