Superior Donuts is an American sitcom that aired on CBS from February 2, 2017, to May 14, 2018. The series was produced by CBS Television Studios and was created by Bob Daily, Garrett Donovan, and Neil Goldman.

Premise[edit]

Superior Donuts revolves around the relationship between the gruff owner of a small donut shop, Arthur Przybyszewski, and his enterprising new young employee, Franco Wicks, in the Uptown neighborhood of Chicago. The series explores the challenges faced by small businesses and the changing dynamics of diverse neighborhoods in Chicago.

  • Jermaine Fowler as Franco Wicks, a young employee at the donut shop.

Superior Donuts received mixed reviews from critics. The series was praised for its diverse cast and the performances of Hirsch and Fowler, but criticized for its lack of originality and humor.
