Street Workout

Street workout (/striːt ˈwɜːrk.aʊt/) is a physical activity, performed mostly in outdoor parks or public facilities. It originated from Ancient Greece, but it's now a global trend. It involves a variety of movements which consist of simple calisthenics exercises like pull-ups, push-ups, and squats.

Etymology

The term "Street workout" is of English origin, derived from the words "street" meaning a public road in a city or town, and "workout" meaning a session of vigorous physical exercise or training. The term was coined to describe a workout style that doesn't require a traditional gym or gym equipment, instead, workouts are done in outdoor parks or public facilities.
