The Special Operations Battalion (Template:Lang-hr, BSO) is a special forces unit of the Croatian Army. Established in 2000, the unit is tasked with conducting a wide range of special operations, including counter-terrorism, direct action, reconnaissance, and unconventional warfare.
History[edit]
The Special Operations Battalion was formed in response to the need for a highly trained and versatile military unit capable of addressing various security challenges. Since its inception, the BSO has participated in numerous national and international missions, contributing to peacekeeping and security operations.
Organization[edit]
The exact structure and size of the Special Operations Battalion are classified. However, it is known to consist of several specialized teams trained in different aspects of special operations.
