Siam University (pronunciation: /siːˈɑːm juːnɪˈvɜːrsɪti/) is a private university located in Phasi Charoen District, Bangkok, Thailand.
Etymology
The name "Siam" is the former official name of Thailand, which was changed in 1949. The term "University" is derived from the Latin universitas magistrorum et scholarium, which means "community of teachers and scholars".
History
Siam University was established in 1965 as a three-year private engineering school. It was later upgraded to a technical college in 1973, and finally became a full university in 1986.

Siam University offers a wide range of programs in various fields such as Business Administration, Engineering, Law, Pharmacy, Nursing, and Liberal Arts. It also offers international programs in collaboration with other universities around the world.
Facilities
