Sexual function (/ˈsɛkʃuəl ˈfʌŋkʃən/) refers to the manner in which humans experience and express themselves sexually. This involves biological, erotic, physical, emotional, social, or spiritual feelings and behaviors.
Etymology
The term "sexual function" is derived from the Latin words "sexus" meaning "sex" and "functio" meaning "performance or execution".
