Sessility in Biology[edit]
Sessility refers to the characteristic of an organism that is fixed in one place; it is immobile and does not possess the ability to move from one location to another. Characteristics[edit]

* Limited Mobility: Sessile organisms cannot move to escape predators or unfavorable conditions. * Dependence on Local Conditions: They rely heavily on the local environment for nutrients and reproduction.
