Salmonella Virus Epsilon15 (ε15) is a bacteriophage that infects the bacterium Salmonella enterica serotype Typhimurium. Bacteriophages, often simply called phages, are viruses that infect and replicate within bacteria. ε15 is notable for its role in the study of virus structure and the mechanisms of viral infection at the molecular level.
