Richard Kiel (1939-2014) was an American actor known for his towering height of 7 feet 1.5 inches (217 cm) and his distinctive role as the metal-mouthed villain "Jaws" in the James Bond films The Spy Who Loved Me (1977) and Moonraker (1979).

Born on September 13, 1939, in Detroit, Michigan, Richard Kiel's exceptional height was due to a condition known as acromegaly. Despite facing challenges due to his size, Kiel embraced his uniqueness and pursued a career in acting.
