Reddit is a social news aggregation, web content rating, and discussion website. Reddit was founded by Steve Huffman and Alexis Ohanian in June 2005. The site was acquired by Condé Nast Publications in October 2006. In 2011, Reddit became an independent subsidiary of Advance Publications, Condé Nast's parent company. Reddit has since grown to become one of the most visited websites in the world.
