Red Band Society
Red Band Society is an American teen drama television series that aired on Fox from September 17, 2014, to February 7, 2015. The series was developed by Margaret Nagle and is based on the Catalan series Polseres vermelles created by Albert Espinosa.
Premise
The series is set in the pediatric ward of Ocean Park Hospital in Los Angeles, California, and follows a group of teenage patients who form a bond while dealing with serious illnesses. The show explores themes of friendship, love, and the struggles of adolescence, all within the context of a hospital setting.
Main Characters
- Leo Roth - A charismatic and confident cancer patient who serves as the leader of the group.
- Emma Chota - A brilliant but anorexic patient who struggles with her self-image and relationships.
