Prince Sigismund of Prussia (Friedrich Sigismund; 15 September 1864 – 18 June 1866) was a member of the House of Hohenzollern. He was born in Potsdam, Kingdom of Prussia, as the youngest child of Frederick III and Victoria, Princess Royal.
Prince Sigismund's short life was marked by tragedy as he passed away at the young age of 1 on 18 June 1866 in Potsdam. His death deeply affected his family and the royal court.
Early Life
Prince Sigismund was born on 15 September 1864 in Potsdam, Kingdom of Prussia. He was the sixth child and fourth son of Emperor Frederick III and Empress Victoria. His siblings included Wilhelm II, Charlotte, and Henry.
