History
The journal was first published in January 1948. It was established by the American Academy of Pediatrics to provide a platform for pediatricians and researchers to share their findings and contribute to the advancement of pediatric medicine.

The topics covered include all aspects of pediatric medicine, such as neonatology, adolescent medicine, child development, and pediatric surgery.
