Pabna Medical College (pronunciation: Pab-na Med-i-cal Col-lege) is a government medical college in Pabna, Bangladesh. It is affiliated with the University of Rajshahi and is recognized by the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council.
Etymology
The name "Pabna Medical College" is derived from its location in the Pabna District of Bangladesh and its primary function as a medical college.
History
Pabna Medical College was established in 2008. It is one of the 36 government-funded medical colleges in Bangladesh. The college offers a five-year course of study, leading to a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree. A one-year internship after graduation is compulsory for all graduates. The degree is recognized by the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council.
