Oncolytic virotherapy - (pronounced) (ON-koh-LIH-tik VY-roh-THAYR-uh-pee) Treatment with an oncolytic virus (a virus that infects and breaks down cancer cells but not normal cells). Oncolytic virotherapy can facilitate the killing of tumor cells by chemotherapy and radiation therapy. It's a kind of targeted therapy.
