Nick Vujicic

Nick Vujicic (born 4 December 1982) is an Australian-American motivational speaker, author, and evangelist known for his inspiring life story of overcoming adversity through faith and perseverance. Born in Melbourne, Australia, without arms or legs due to a rare disorder known as Tetra-amelia syndrome, Vujicic has become a symbol of triumph against all odds.
Early Life[edit]
Nick Vujicic was born to Dushka and Boris Vujicic in 1982. Despite the initial shock and hardship his disability presented, his family was determined to provide him with as normal a life as possible. From an early age, Vujicic struggled with his physical condition, leading to challenges such as bullying and depression. However, with the support of his family, faith, and community, he developed a strong sense of self-worth and a positive outlook on life.
Career[edit]
Vujicic began his journey as a public speaker at the age of 17, speaking in his local prayer group, and eventually expanded his audience to schools, corporations, and congregations worldwide. He focuses on topics such as disability, hope, and finding meaning in life, often drawing from his personal experiences to connect with and inspire his audience.
In 2005, he founded an international non-profit organization and ministry, Life Without Limbs, to further his mission of spreading hope and sharing his faith around the world. Through this platform, he has traveled to over 60 countries, reaching millions of people with his message.
Authorship[edit]
Nick Vujicic is also a prolific author, having written several books that share his philosophy on overcoming obstacles and living a life without limits. His first book, Life Without Limits: Inspiration for a Ridiculously Good Life (2010), is an autobiography that details his journey from a child with a severe disability to an internationally recognized motivational speaker. Following its success, he has published several other books, including Unstoppable: The Incredible Power of Faith in Action (2012) and Love Without Limits: A Remarkable Story of True Love Conquering All (2014), among others.
Personal Life[edit]
Nick married Kanae Miyahara in 2012, and the couple has four children. He often shares insights into his family life, further endearing him to his followers and reinforcing his message that any obstacle can be overcome with love, faith, and perseverance.
