Neurocare (pronounced: /ˈnʊərəʊkɛər/) is a branch of medicine that focuses on the care and treatment of disorders related to the nervous system. The term is derived from the Greek words "neuron" meaning nerve and "kara" meaning care.

Etymology

The term "Neurocare" is a combination of two words: "Neuro" which is derived from the Greek word "neuron" meaning nerve, and "care" which is derived from the Old English word "caru" meaning to care for or to worry about.
