National Comprehensive Cancer Network
National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) is a not-for-profit alliance of cancer centers in the United States. It is dedicated to improving the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of cancer care so that patients can live better lives. The NCCN develops and communicates scientifically derived information about cancer care to the medical community, policy makers, and the public.

The NCCN was established in 1995 with the aim of addressing the growing need for evidence-based, consensus-driven guidelines for cancer treatment. Since its inception, the NCCN has grown to include 31 leading cancer centers across the United States. These member institutions are recognized for their scientific and clinical excellence in cancer research, diagnosis, and treatment.
Mission[edit]
The mission of the NCCN is to improve and facilitate quality, effective, efficient, and accessible cancer care so patients can live better lives. To achieve this, the NCCN focuses on research, education, and the creation of comprehensive clinical practice guidelines.
NCCN Guidelines[edit]
The NCCN Clinical Practice Guidelines in Oncology (NCCN Guidelines) are a set of step-by-step directives that help healthcare providers make decisions about cancer care. These guidelines cover diagnosis, treatment, and management for a wide range of cancers and are updated regularly to reflect the latest research and clinical practices. They are considered the standard for clinical policy in oncology by clinicians and payors.
