NADPH
NADPH (pronounced as "en-ay-dee-pee-aych") is an acronym for Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide Phosphate (pronounced as "nik-oh-tin-uh-mide ad-uh-neen di-nu-klee-uh-tide fos-fate").
Etymology
The term NADPH is derived from its full form, Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide Phosphate. The term itself is a combination of several words. 'Nicotinamide' is derived from 'nicotine', a compound found in tobacco, and 'amide', a type of organic compound.
