MimicCreme

MimicCreme is a brand of non-dairy and vegan cream substitute that was produced by Green Rabbit LLC. It was made from a blend of almond and cashew nuts, and was free from lactose, soy, gluten, and cholesterol. It was available in both sweetened and unsweetened versions.

History

MimicCreme was first introduced to the market in 2007 by Green Rabbit LLC, a company based in Albany, New York. The product was developed as a response to the growing demand for non-dairy and vegan alternatives to traditional dairy products. The company ceased production of MimicCreme in 2013.

Ingredients

The main ingredients of MimicCreme were purified water, almond and cashew nut blend, natural flavors, bicarbonate soda, and rice starch. The sweetened version also contained pure cane sugar. All ingredients were non-GMO and the product was certified kosher.

Uses

MimicCreme was versatile and could be used in a variety of culinary applications. It could be used as a cream substitute in coffee, for baking, in sauces, soups, and any recipe that called for cream. It was also used in the production of non-dairy ice cream.

Reception

MimicCreme was well received by the vegan and lactose-intolerant communities for its taste and versatility. It won the Best New Vegetarian Product Award at the Natural Products Expo East in 2007.
