The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) is a state government agency in the U.S. state of Michigan. It was formed in 2015 through the merger of the Michigan Department of Community Health and the Michigan Department of Human Services.
History
The MDHHS was established on April 10, 2015, by an executive order from Governor Rick Snyder. The merger aimed to streamline services and improve the efficiency of health and human services in the state.

The MDHHS is headed by a Director, who is appointed by the Governor. The department is divided into several bureaus and offices, each responsible for different aspects of health and human services. These include:
