Michael Smith (chemist)


Michael Smith (April 26, 1932 – October 4, 2000) was a British-born Canadian biochemist who was awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1993, sharing it with Kary Mullis for their work in the development of site-directed mutagenesis.
