Marlena Evans is a fictional character from the American soap opera Days of Our Lives on the NBC network. The character has been portrayed by actress Deidre Hall since 1976, with a few breaks in between. Marlena is a prominent psychiatrist in the fictional town of Salem.
Character history
Marlena was introduced as a psychiatrist who quickly became a central figure in the lives of many Salem residents. She has been involved in numerous high-profile storylines, including demonic possession, kidnapping, and amnesia.
Family and relationships
Marlena has been married multiple times. Her first marriage was to Don Craig, with whom she had a son, DJ, who tragically died of SIDS.
