Marc McDermott (24 July 1881 – 5 January 1929) was an Irish-American actor and film director. He was born in Dublin, Ireland, and later moved to the United States where he became a prominent figure in the early days of American cinema.

McDermott was born on July 24, 1881, in Dublin, Ireland. He began his acting career in the theater before transitioning to film.

McDermott appeared in over 200 films during his career, starting in the silent film era. He worked with some of the leading directors and actors of the time, including D.W.
