Sweets
Kavum is a traditional Sri Lankan sweet made from rice flour and treacle, and deep-fried to a golden brown. It is most commonly made for the Sinhala and Tamil New Year.
Mung Kavum is a variation of Kavum that is made with green gram (mung bean) flour. It is also a popular sweet during the Sinhala and Tamil New Year.
