Life Sciences Foundation
The Life Sciences Foundation (LSF) was a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and promoting the history of the life sciences. The foundation aimed to collect, preserve, and share the stories of the scientists, entrepreneurs, and institutions that have contributed to the advancement of the life sciences.
History[edit]
The Life Sciences Foundation was established in 2011 with the mission to document the history of the life sciences industry. The foundation was headquartered in San Francisco, California. It was founded by a group of life sciences professionals who recognized the importance of preserving the history of the field.
Mission[edit]
The mission of the Life Sciences Foundation was to:
- Collect and preserve historical materials related to the life sciences.
- Conduct oral history interviews with key figures in the life sciences.
- Promote public understanding of the history and impact of the life sciences.
- Support research and scholarship in the history of the life sciences.

The foundation engaged in several key activities to fulfill its mission:
