History

The Leffe brand traces its origins back to the Abbey of Leffe, a Premonstratensian monastery located in the town of Dinant, in the Walloon region of Belgium. The monks of the abbey began brewing beer in the 13th century, and the tradition continued until the abbey was suppressed during the French Revolution. The brand was revived in the 20th century and is now produced on a large scale.

Types of Leffe Beer

There are several types of Leffe beer, each with its own distinct characteristics.

• Leffe Blonde: A pale abbey beer, with a full, sunny, golden colour. It has a smooth and full bodied taste and a rich creamy head. Its rich and complex taste is due to the use of different types of malt.

• Leffe Triple: A full-bodied beer with a deep golden colour. It has a rich, complex taste and a strong aroma.

Brewing Process
