Leena Peltonen-Palotie
Leena Peltonen-Palotie (pronunciation: LEE-nah PEL-toh-nen PAL-oh-tee) was a renowned Finnish geneticist known for her significant contributions to the field of human genetics.
Etymology

Career
Leena Peltonen-Palotie was born on June 16, 1952, in Helsinki, Finland. She completed her Ph.D. in Molecular Genetics from the University of Helsinki in 1978.
