The beer's label features the number "33," which has been the subject of much speculation and various theories. Some believe it refers to the year Prohibition ended, while others think it might be the number of words in the original slogan.

In 1995, Labatt was purchased by Interbrew, which later became part of Anheuser-Busch InBev. In 2006, Anheuser-Busch decided to move the production of Rolling Rock to its facility in Newark, New Jersey, which led to the closure of the Latrobe plant.

Revival and Current Operations

In 2007, the Latrobe brewery was purchased by City Brewing Company, a contract brewer based in La Crosse, Wisconsin. The facility was reopened and began producing various beers for different brands. Today, the Latrobe Brewing Company continues to operate as a contract brewery, producing a variety of beers for different clients.
