Krisana Kraisintu was born in Bangkok, Thailand. She pursued her education in the field of pharmacy, earning her Bachelor's degree from Chulalongkorn University and her Master's degree from Mahidol University. She later received her Doctorate in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Chulalongkorn University.

Career

Krisana Kraisintu began her career as a researcher at the Government Pharmaceutical Organization (GPO) in Thailand. During her tenure at the GPO, she led the development of the first generic antiretroviral drug in Thailand, which significantly reduced the cost of HIV/AIDS treatment in the country.
