History
Kerry Group was established in 1972 when Denis Brosnan led a management buyout of the dairy processing division of the state-owned An Bord Bainne. The company initially focused on the production of dairy products, but later expanded into other areas of food processing.
In the following years, Kerry Group made several strategic acquisitions to diversify its product portfolio and expand its global presence. These acquisitions included the purchase of Golden Vale in 2001, Quest in 2004, and Cargill Flavor Systems in 2011.
