John E. J. Rasko

John E. J. Rasko is an Australian hematologist and stem cell researcher. He is known for his work in the field of gene therapy and regenerative medicine. Rasko is currently a professor at the University of Sydney and the Head of the Department of Cell and Molecular Therapies at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.

Early Life and Education

John E. J. Rasko was born in Australia and completed his medical degree at the University of Sydney. He later pursued further studies in hematology and stem cell biology.

Career

Rasko's research focuses on the development of novel therapies using gene editing techniques and stem cells. He has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals on topics related to gene therapy and regenerative medicine.

In addition to his research, Rasko is actively involved in teaching and mentoring students in the field of medicine and biomedical research.
