James Dundas-Grant

Sir James Dundas-Grant (1854–1944) was a prominent British otolaryngologist known for his contributions to the field of ear, nose, and throat (ENT) medicine. He was a pioneer in the development of surgical techniques and treatments for diseases affecting the upper respiratory tract.
Early life and education
James Dundas-Grant was born in 1854. He pursued his medical education at the University of Edinburgh, where he developed a keen interest in the emerging field of otolaryngology. After completing his studies, he furthered his training in various European medical centers, gaining expertise in the latest surgical techniques.
Career
Dundas-Grant began his medical career in London, where he quickly established himself as a leading ENT specialist. He was appointed as a surgeon at several prestigious hospitals, including the Royal London Hospital and the Charing Cross Hospital. His work focused on the treatment of sinusitis, tonsillitis, and other common ENT conditions.
