Jake the Dog is a fictional character in the animated television series Adventure Time created by Pendleton Ward. Jake is a magical dog and one of the main protagonists of the series. He is voiced by John DiMaggio.
Character Overview
Jake is a yellow dog with the ability to stretch and manipulate his body into various shapes and sizes. This power is referred to as "stretchy powers" in the series. He is the best friend and adoptive brother of Finn the Human, the other main protagonist of Adventure Time. Jake and Finn live together in a treehouse in the post-apocalyptic Land of Ooo.
Personality
Jake is laid-back, fun-loving, and often acts as a mentor to Finn. Despite his relaxed demeanor, he is fiercely loyal and protective of his friends and family. He enjoys playing the viola and has a deep love for food, especially bacon pancakes.
Abilities
Jake's primary ability is his power to stretch and morph his body into almost any shape and size. This ability allows him to perform a variety of tasks, from combat to simple everyday activities. He can also use his powers to grow to gigantic proportions or shrink to a very small size.
Family and Relationships
Jake is married to Lady Rainicorn, a rainbow-colored unicorn-rainbow hybrid. Together, they have five children: Charlie, T.V., Viola, Kim Kil Whan, and Jake Jr. Jake's parents are Joshua and Margaret, who adopted Finn when he was a baby.
