Hesse is a state in the Federal Republic of Germany, with its capital at Wiesbaden and the largest city being Frankfurt. It is known for its rich history, diverse landscapes, and economic vitality.

History

Hesse has a rich and varied history, with human habitation dating back to the Paleolithic era. The region was part of the Roman Empire, and later became a duchy under the Holy Roman Empire.
