Hardee's (/ˈhɑːrdiːz/) is an American-based fast-food restaurant chain operated by CKE Restaurants Holdings, Inc. with locations primarily in the Southern and Midwestern United States.
Etymology
The restaurant chain was first opened by Wilber Hardee in 1960 in Greenville, North Carolina. The name "Hardee's" is derived from the founder's surname.
