History
Grom was founded by Federico Grom and Guido Martinetti, two friends who shared a passion for gelato and a desire to create a product that was both delicious and natural. They opened their first shop in Turin in 2003, and the company quickly gained a reputation for its high-quality gelato.
In 2007, Grom began to expand internationally, opening stores in New York City and Paris. The company continued to grow, and by 2015, it had more than 60 stores in countries around the world.
In 2015, Grom was acquired by the multinational food company Unilever, but it continues to operate as a separate entity, maintaining its commitment to quality and natural ingredients.
Products
Grom's main product is its gelato, which is made with all-natural ingredients. The company sources its ingredients from around the world, including Madagascar vanilla, Ecuadorian chocolate, and Piedmont hazelnuts.
In addition to gelato, Grom also sells other products, including sorbets, granitas, and hot chocolate. The company also sells a range of packaged products, including gelato mixes and biscuits.
Philosophy
Grom's philosophy is to create the best gelato possible using all-natural ingredients. The company avoids using artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives, and it sources its ingredients from suppliers who share its commitment to quality and sustainability.
