The Fullerton Fire Department (pronounced: /ˈfʊlərtən faɪər dɪˈpɑːrtmənt/) is a public safety organization responsible for fire suppression, emergency medical services, and related activities within the city of Fullerton, California.
Etymology
The name "Fullerton" is derived from George H. Fullerton, who secured the land on behalf of the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway. The term "Fire Department" is a common term used to refer to a group of individuals who are primarily responsible for firefighting.
