Focșani
Focșani is a city and municipality in Vrancea County, located in eastern Romania. It is the capital of Vrancea County and is situated near the confluence of the Milcov River and the Putna River. The city has a population of approximately 79,315, making it the 28th most populous city in Romania.

Focșani was first mentioned in 1434 in a document issued by Vlad II Dracul, the ruler of Wallachia. The city has a rich history, with significant events such as the Battle of Focșani taking place in the region during the Russo-Turkish War.
