Description
English: Stepping verticalization procedure in ICU. The video shows a 30-minute session of stepping verticalization of a patient in vegetative state. The session is carried out in an ICU room, using a tilt table with integrated robotic stepping device. Cardiovascular and respiratory parameters are continuously monitored. Ventilator dependence, tracheal cannula, nasogastric tube and central venous catheter are not barrier to the treatment. See text for details.
