Coral drilling to recover a core for studying paleoclimate change. The drill is a conventional wireline-system, operated by a diver with a hydraulic unit and a water pump for flushing; the drilled object is coral colony of Porites which has an age of about 350 years; location is off the Island of Mactan, Philippines, in a water depth of 2-3 m.
