Extended synaptotagmin-1
Extended Synaptotagmin-1 (E-Syt1) is a membrane protein that plays a crucial role in the regulation of lipid transfer between the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) and the plasma membrane (PM). This protein is part of the extended synaptotagmins family, which includes E-Syt1, E-Syt2, and E-Syt3, all of which are characterized by their ability to mediate lipid exchange and signal transduction processes at membrane contact sites.
